Visitation:
Shut-in members at home and in nursing facilities – visited by clergy, some laity, and through cards and wreaths from J2A youth
Hospitalized members and family – by clergy and some laity
Newcomers – by clergy through welcome letters, phone calls and visits, by laity delivering a quiche
Prisoners – by clergy on approximately a quarterly basis

Liminal Moments (Times in members’ lives when pastoral care is commonly needed/wanted):
Birth/Baptism – blessing, baptism preparation, service
Marriage – counseling and service
Discernment – sense of call to ordained ministry or special ministry in the church
