Trinity Church supports people at all stages of life...We work to provide age-appropriate materials and enjoyable activities that challenge and enlighten. We offer Sunday School, choirs for children and youth, our Acolyte Program and youth missions, both in the USA and in Honduras. During Sunday worship, all children are welcome and there is a special children's sermon at the 8:45 am and 11:00 am services (10:00 am in summer). Sunday Morning at 10:00 am...Sunday School!
All ages are welcome at church services at Trinity Church. In addition, Sunday School classes for every member meet in the Parish House from 10:00 to 10:50 on Sunday mornings during the school year (but not in the summer). Middle School Students Middle School students enjoy the Journey to Adulthood program. They also get together for fun and fellowship at least once a month outside of the Sunday School hour. Senior Youth Acolytes serve during worship services in a number of ways. They can serve at any service as processional bearers, candle lighters, or altar servers assisting in preparation for communion. Acolytes are trained by clergy and the Acolyte Coordinator. Link to the Acolyte Manual. Youth Missions and Outreach Trinity provides lots of ways for children to participate in service projects. Sunday School classes prepare food for our Noon Lunch program, raise money for the Heifer Project, reach out to Parish elders, do annual service projects in the community and provide gifts for children in foster care at Christmas. We have youth mission trips to Honduras. These trips support and further the work done in the Maya Deanery by the annual adult mission groups. We sent a youth group to help in Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina Children and Youth Choirs The Episcopal Church welcomes you! |
