We are delighted that our faithful and committed  youth leaders Paul Bugas and Muffie Newell will be teaching our Sunday morning class for 9-12th graders (these two have been going strong with our youth for over a decade!). They will be using the “Wired Word” as their curriculum; it is a weekly publication that connects the goings on in the world with scripture and invites students to consider where God is at work in the world in our every day lives.  All high school students are encouraged to come and enjoy discussion and fellowship on Sunday mornings.

Our new senior high youth group leader is Elizabeth Shreckhise who will be organizing activities outside of Sunday School time. Our hope is that these activities will be an opportunity for relationship building in a variety of settings, such as a gleaning or other hunger project, a ski trip, a mission trip or just watching a movie and eating dinner together. We believe that the two distinctively different types of gatherings (Sunday mornings and those outside Sunday mornings) will complement each other, giving our youth good opportunities for faith formation that will include study, service to our community, service to another community through mission trips and fellowship-just being together in our faith community.  We would love to have parents sign up to help with an activity or two as the year progresses.
