Visiting Trinity on the Weekdays

Trinity Church, located at 214 West Beverley Street, in Staunton, Virginia, sits in a beautiful quiet churchyard, adjacent to downtown Staunton. The current building (the third on this site) was completed in 1857. It is brick, and Neo-Gothic in design. Tourists are particularly interested in the stained-glass, including 12 Tiffany windows which span Louis Comfort Tiffany's 40-year career. There is also a Taylor & Boody organ, completed in 2000.

Parking is available in the church parking lot at Lewis and Johnson Streets. There is an outside stairway up to the church level. You may also park on Church Street, W. Beverley Street and, for a fee, in the municipal garage opposite the church on Johnson Street.

If you are coming to participate in a meeting or activity in the Trinity Church Parish House or McCracken Hall after 5:00 pm:
If your meeting or activity is on the second floor of the Parish House, the door facing Johnson Street is usually unlocked. When you enter that door, walk to the hallway then turn left to ride the elevator or right to take the stairs at the far end of the hall. If that door isn't open, you may come up the outside steps to the left of the door and walk around to the front of the building, entering the door closest to the stairs near the back of the church.

McCracken Hall is the large gathering hall on the first floor of the Parish House. The door closest to the stairs near the back of the church is usually open for events in McCracken Hall.

A nursery is available for the 8:45 and 11:00 am services on the ground floor of the Parish House behind the church in the fall, winter and spring. In the summer, nursery is available for the 10:00 am service.

Sunday parking is available on the side of the church on Lewis Street and in front of the church on W.Beverley Street. Free parking is also available in the municipal parking garage across from church property on Johnson Street.
