In January 2010, the Women's Bible study will begin a new study on the Gospel of Luke, which is the gospel that our lectionary (the readings we include on Sunday mornings and other important liturgical days) follows through much of the new year. Luke's message is particularly inclusive, speaking to all people. This is a good opportunity for women to dig into the Bible with other women. Many of us have found that this time of study is also a special time of fellowship. As we read the text we question, we ponder, we laugh, (we even complain occasionally!) as we consider what God might be saying to us through the Gospel.  We begin and end with prayer.  The study on Luke will begin January 13 and meet on Wednesdays for about 15 weeks. There will be two classes, one from 11a.m. to 12:00p.m. and one from 5:30p.m. to 6:30p.m. Just choose the one that suits you best. The study guides are $22.
