During the work week the church office and the Noon Lunch Program will follow the closing schedule of the Staunton City Schools. If the City schools are closed, the church office will be closed and Noon Lunch will not be served.
It is very unlikely that Sunday church services will ever be canceled on account of the weather, but if services are cancelled it will be announced on TV3-WHSV, and on the WTON at 1240 on your AM radio dial.
We make every effort to keep the sidewalks and steps clear of ice and snow in the winter. On most snowy days, our parking lot and walkways are cleared. If it snows overnight on Saturday, please be aware that driving to church may be hazardous on Sunday morning and when you arrive at church there is a possibility that we may still be in the midst of clearing the walks. When you are deciding whether to come to church on a snowy morning, please take into consideration your steadiness on your feet and your ability to walk on what may be only partially cleared walkways. We don’t want anyone to slip and get hurt.
We are collecting names of volunteers who would be willing to help our Sexton shovel snow before church services on Sunday morning. If this sounds like a ministry you are able to take on, let us know at 886 * 9132 and we’ll make you an official member of the Trinity Volunteer Snow Crew. On the rare occasions when it snows overnight on Saturday, there may be a need for extra hands to make the way clear for Sunday morning services.
