Hello Parish Family,
Thanks to the many parishioners who stopped at the table in the back of church at one of the services for the past three Sundays. Hopefully, you were able to meet one of your Vestry members assisting with the distribution of our 2027 pledge packets. Those that were not picked up will be mailed, so be on the lookout for a large, white envelope in the mail with important documents inside. Please be generous with your pledge and be sure to bring it with you to one of our services on November 1. Many thanks to Vestryman Donald Romanik for his guiding hand during this season of giving.
Management of our grounds takes up an important segment of our Vestry discussions each month. The Property Committee closely examines every aspect of our church, buildings, and grounds, then brings their recommendations for action to Vestry meetings. The reason we have refurbished our cemetery, provided universal access to the church, improved signage, and are controlling roof runoff is due to the hard work of these individuals. Making sure that we have safe, accessible, and beautiful grounds is a high priority of Vestry. Be on the lookout for the installation of a new landing and stairs in front of the church’s labyrinth door in the near future!
Finally, during these busy times before Advent, Trinity parishioners need to elect a fresh slate of four Vestrypersons. You will see nomination forms in the pews beginning Sunday, October 25. Please give careful thought to nominating a person that would like to serve in a leadership role for the next three years.
For All the Saints,
Paul Bugas
