Plans are underway for Sacred Music Week 2027, which will take place June 6 – 11, 2027. The schedule for this past Sacred Music is below and provides a good example of what you may look forward to experiencing next summer.
Organ Concert: The Bolena Duo
Sunday, June 7 • 5 pm
Sacred Music Week opens with an organ concert of solo and duo works performed by Virginia and Jonathan Bolena. Their program comes directly from their upcoming appearance in Piccolo Spoleto 2026 in Charleston, SC, where they’ll perform the week prior, and includes a unique four-hand, two-feet arrangement of J.S. Bach’s St. Anne Fugue.
Workshop: William Byrd’s Mass for Four Voices
Monday, June 8 • 7 pm
Soprano Virginia Grabovsky and Bass Jonathan Bolena lead singers on an in-depth study of the Gloria from Byrd’s well-known choral Mass setting. Some time will also be spent on Byrd’s double motet Ne irascaris. Singers should come with notes prepared to the best of their abilities.

Choral Evensong

Sacred Music Week concludes with the intimate service of Choral Evensong, sung by Trinity’s Senior Choristers. This service marks the beginning of preparation for Trinity Choirs’ 2028 Choral Residency at Winchester Cathedral, UK.
Choir Camp Sharing Session
Friday, June 12 • 11:30 am
On Friday June 12, the young musicians from Choir Camp will showcase their creative work in a sharing session open to all at 11:30 in the church. This year, 35 children and youth will attend the Boychoir and Girlchoir Experiences. Throughout the week, choristers will sing, learn, have small group and individual vocal coaching, make crafts, and create beautiful sacred art. Come hear what a week of hard work sounds like.
