Applications open for the 2026-2027 Organ Scholar and Builder Apprenticeship
Trinity Episcopal Church and Taylor & Boody Organbuilders are excited to announce their partnership to offer an Organ Scholar and Builder Apprentice position. This ten-month position is an incredibly unique opportunity for a qualified candidate to experience hands-on learning from world-class organ builders and a thriving, established multi-faceted church music program. Ample time is available for practice on the church’s Taylor & Boody organs. Bi-weekly organ lessons are included.
The ideal candidate is a serious organ student looking to build their church music experience and also explore the field of organ building and design. Experience with woodworking or organ building is highly desired. An openness to learning and trying new things and a positive, collaborative spirit are imperative characteristics.
Salary: $16,500 plus housing
